Post action report – Stockholm fetish weekend

Here is a short review of the Stockholm fetish weekend. We went up to Stockholm to both sell some latex at the Fetish fair as Abstinence together with Sin And Virtue and to attend the main party Saturday night.

The fair.

The fair was way above our expectations. We were looking forward to a rather slow day where we could talk to friends and hang out while checking out some of the other vendors. Had to ditch those plans rather quick since the was an even flow of attendants throughout the whole day. Apart from us and Sin And Virtue, Naucler Design was also there and we got lots of compliments on the amount of latex available for the attendants. The fair was held at Kolingsborg right smack in the centre of Stockholm so it had good potentials for lots of attendants and as mentioned, there were.

The party

The theme for the party was “Plugged” (as opposed to unplugged) and the main show was a great display of pure electro sexuality. Good friends of ours put on a electro sex players wet dream using a tesla coil onstage, plugged to eachother for both pain and pleasure. Apart from that Naucler Design put on a good fashion show themed with the 7 deadly sins. Kolingsborg was at first a bit to packed for our comfort but we found a relax area where we found some space to chat and have some beers with friends. After the main show people seemed to move to the play areas or go home since there was a lot more room the last hours of the party. People were very friendly and easy-going as usual at Dekadance events, love you all

We have heard some negative feedback along the lines of the music choise and playrooms being to small but guess you can’t please everyone. We had a great time and it felt like the majority did as well so kudos to Dekadance for yet another 5 out of 5 possible event, we WILL be back!

Yes, facebook decided to shut us down due to the fact that we were in a group showing something they did not like. Alas the group was closed and so were all the group members facebook accounts. Interesting since you have NO control over what groups you are in since people can just add you if they like…

@ Lifestyle Merchandise in Gothenburg

We (in the form of Abstinence Latex Design) made a co-op with Gothenburg based latex reseller Sin And Virtue and showcased our products at the Lifestyle Merchandise fair held in Gotheburg the past weekend. With us was Psylocke, also from Gothenburg, who was more then happy to show of some of our creations. Hope you like

We did a photo shoot in December last year for a new Gothenburg based latex reseller called Sin And Virtue. They are up and running now so we can post some of the fruits from that shoot

Bizarre Beauty is at it… again

After a good while of nothing we finally had the opportunity to work some with our friends at Bizarre Beauty and their newest video, the sequel to their first video – The inheritage. As always the shoot and post prod was a lot of fun.

Let’s party like it was 1998

Last night we attended a revival party at Karisma in Gothenburg. It used to be called Kompaniet and was one of THE places to freak out to good music and nice people when we were… less young then we are now… Somewhat rebuilt, the club still felt very familiar, in particular the rather bleak assortment in beers offered for sale… sucked!

We both had a great night reliving some of the “good ‘ol days” meeting long-lost friends and dancing to music you thought you would never hear again.

Tomorrow we go out shooting… more info on that later

Tip the Velvet – 2 year anniversary

This crased party weekend peaked last night when we took some friends to the 2nd anniversary of Tip the Velvet. After having some sparkling wine and absinth at our apartment we bravely took aim at the taxi that took us through a snow-covered Gothenburg to the party. As usual the crowd was wild and you got a sore neck from looking around at all the beautiful people. It’s always striking that so many take the time and effort they obviously do to get their outfits and styles to the top-notch level they have.

Shows were very amusing although some routines get a bit “old” since you have seen them before more or less. Not complaining, just saying…

Thanks to everyone there who helped turn the night into what it was… GREAT!
